FIRESTONE has announced the start of production of the ROADHAWK 2 ENLITEN, the successor to the ROADHAWK summer tyres. The latest Firestone tyre, developed with the innovative ENLITEN tyre technology platform, delivers best-in-class wet grip, greater mileage and improved fuel/energy consumption compared to the previous generation.

The new Firestone Roadhawk 2 ENLITEN summer tyre delivers 20 percent longer mileage than the Firestone Roadhawk and more than 10 percent lower rolling resistance to optimise fuel/energy consumption. Significant performance gains over the previous-generation Firestone Roadhawk have been achieved thanks to ENLITEN technology in the latest Firestone model, which was developed at Bridgestone's research and development centre in Rome. This means it can meet both the general performance demands of any vehicle and the specific requirements of electric vehicles.

The new Firestone tyre will be available from 2024 in 19 sizes.
