Terms of use and purchase
These terms of use and purchase (hereinafter - Terms) govern the relationship between the owner of the rigasriepas.lv online shop and every person who visits the site or makes purchases on it. Please read the Terms carefully before placing an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to the Terms.

2. General provisions
These Terms apply to all orders placed by the Buyer in the rigasriepas.lv online shop. The Terms have been drawn up in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia, including:
- the Consumer Rights Protection Law (PTAL);
- Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255 of 20 May 2014 "Regulations Regarding Distance Contracts";
- Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 631 of 4 October 2016 "Procedures for Submitting and Examining a Consumer's Claim Regarding Goods or Services Not Conforming to the Contract Terms";
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR).
The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms by publishing the current version on rigasriepas.lv. Amendments take effect from the moment of publication and do not apply to orders that have already been confirmed.
These Terms apply to natural persons (consumers). Purchase terms for legal entities may differ - please contact us directly.
3. Ordering procedure
The distance contract between the Seller and the Buyer is considered concluded at the moment the Buyer places an order in the online shop and receives the Seller's electronic confirmation that the order has been accepted.
Order placement procedure:
- The Buyer selects the desired goods and adds them to the shopping cart.
- The Buyer provides the delivery address and chooses a delivery method.
- The Buyer chooses a payment method and confirms the order.
- The Buyer receives an automatic e-mail confirmation that the order has been registered.
- The Seller confirms the order by sending a second e-mail with the order details and payment information.
The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided in the order. If the data provided is incorrect or incomplete, the Seller is not liable for non-fulfilment or delay of the order.
The Seller has the right to refuse an order if the goods are not available in stock, if an incorrect price has been indicated, or if other objective obstacles have arisen. In such a case, the Buyer will be informed and any amount paid will be refunded in full.
4. Prices and payment
All prices in the rigasriepas.lv online shop are stated in euros (EUR) and include value added tax (VAT) at 21%, unless stated otherwise.
Delivery costs are calculated and shown separately before the order is confirmed.
The Seller reserves the right to change product prices. Changes do not apply to orders that have already been confirmed and paid for.
Available payment methods:
- Bank transfer - an invoice is sent to the Buyer's e-mail after the order is confirmed. Order processing begins once payment has been received.
- Cash - payment is possible when collecting the goods in person at the Seller's place of business or at the time of delivery (if this option has been agreed in advance).
- Leasing - in accordance with the terms of the chosen leasing service provider. Further information is available in the "Services / Payments" section or by contacting the Seller.
The invoice is prepared electronically and is valid without a signature. The Buyer receives it at the e-mail address provided.
5. Delivery
The Seller delivers goods only within the territory of the Republic of Latvia.
The delivery time is indicated for each product or at the time the order is confirmed. If no delivery time is indicated, the Seller ensures delivery within no more than 30 (thirty) days from the date the distance contract is concluded, in accordance with Section 12.¹ of the PTAL.
If the Seller is unable to meet the delivery deadline, it shall inform the Buyer without delay. The Buyer is entitled to agree on a new delivery deadline or to cancel the contract and receive a full refund.
Delivery costs:
- Delivery charge throughout Latvia - 10 EUR.
- Free delivery may apply to certain orders in accordance with the Seller's current offer information.
Upon delivery, the Buyer must check the integrity of the packaging and that the goods match the order. The Buyer must notify the Seller immediately of any visibly damaged packaging or goods and, if delivery is made by courier, record the damage on the delivery note.
6. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Section 12 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law and Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255 "Regulations Regarding Distance Contracts", the Buyer - a natural person (consumer) - has the right to withdraw from the distance contract within 14 (fourteen) calendar days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period begins:
- in the case of a purchase of goods - on the day the Buyer or a person indicated by the Buyer (other than the carrier) receives the goods;
- if several goods are ordered in one order and delivered separately - on the day the last item is received;
- if the goods are delivered in lots or parts - on the day the last lot or part is received.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must send the Seller a clear statement of the decision to withdraw from the contract (for example, an e-mail to ). The Buyer may use the model withdrawal form included in the annex to Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255, available at: likumi.lv/ta/id/266462.
If the Seller has not provided the Buyer with information about the right of withdrawal, the withdrawal period is extended to 1 (one) year and 14 days.
6.1. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases, in accordance with Paragraph 22 of Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255:
- if the goods have been made to the Buyer's individual specifications or are clearly personalised;
- if, after delivery, the goods have been irreversibly mixed with other items;
- if the goods are liable to deteriorate quickly or expire soon;
- in other cases specified in Paragraph 22 of Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255.
6.2. Return procedure
If the Buyer exercises the right of withdrawal:
- The Buyer sends a withdrawal notice to before the 14-day period expires.
- The Buyer sends or delivers the goods back to the Seller (Slokas iela 55, Rīga) no later than within 14 days of giving notice of withdrawal.
- The goods must be returned in their original packaging, complete, clean and free of any damage other than that arising from inspecting the nature and characteristics of the goods.
- The direct costs of returning the goods are borne by the Buyer, unless otherwise agreed.
The Seller refunds the Buyer all payments received, including delivery costs (but not the cost of returning the goods), no later than within 14 days from the day the withdrawal notice is received. The refund is made by bank transfer to the account indicated by the Buyer.
The Seller is entitled to withhold the refund until the goods have been received back or the Buyer has provided proof that the goods have been sent.
The Buyer is liable for any diminished value of the goods if they have been used for purposes other than establishing their nature, characteristics and functioning (Section 12, Paragraph 11 of the PTAL).
7. Product quality, warranty and complaints
The goods sold comply with the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Latvia and the manufacturer's technical specifications.
If the goods received do not conform to the terms of the contract (are damaged, do not match the description, are incomplete, etc.), the Buyer has the right to submit a complaint in accordance with the PTAL and Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 631.
Statutory conformity guarantee:
- The Seller is liable for any non-conformity of the goods discovered within 2 (two) years from the date of purchase.
- If a non-conformity is discovered within the first 6 (six) months after purchase, it is presumed to have existed at the time of purchase, and the burden of proving otherwise lies with the Seller.
Complaint procedure:
- The Buyer contacts the Seller by writing to or calling +371 20110016, stating the order number, a description of the goods and the nature of the problem.
- The complaint is examined within 15 (fifteen) days of its receipt.
- Depending on the non-conformity found, the Buyer is entitled to request repair of the goods, replacement with equivalent goods, a price reduction, or cancellation of the contract and a refund.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use or storage of the goods, mechanical impact or normal wear and tear.
The manufacturer's commercial warranty (if provided with the goods) exists independently of the statutory guarantee and does not limit the consumer's rights.
8. Personal data protection
SIA "M Company" processes the Buyer's personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and the Personal Data Processing Law of the Republic of Latvia.

The following data is processed for the purpose of fulfilling orders: first name, surname, delivery address, phone number, e-mail address and payment information. This data is processed on the basis of contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
Data is not passed to third parties, except delivery service providers and payment processors, to the extent necessary to fulfil the order.
The Buyer has the right to request access to their personal data, its rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate (www.dvi.gov.lv).

9. Intellectual property
All content on the rigasriepas.lv website - texts, images, graphics, logos, product descriptions and other materials - is the intellectual property of SIA "M Company" or its licensors and is protected by copyright law. Copying, reproducing or using the content for commercial purposes without the Seller's written consent is prohibited.
10. Limitation of liability
The Seller is not liable for delays in fulfilling an order, or for the impossibility of fulfilling it, due to force majeure - natural disasters, strikes, orders of public authorities, interruptions in suppliers' operations or other circumstances beyond the Seller's control. The Buyer will be informed of such circumstances without delay.
The Seller accepts no liability for losses arising from improper use or storage of the goods, or from improper fitting or maintenance carried out contrary to the manufacturer's instructions.
11. Dispute resolution
The Parties shall endeavour to resolve any disputes arising from or related to these Terms through negotiation. The Buyer may submit a complaint to the Seller in writing by e-mail to .
If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, the Buyer - a natural person (consumer) - is entitled to turn to:
- the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC) - Brīvības iela 55, Rīga, LV-1010, phone +371 65452554, www.ptac.gov.lv;
- the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform - https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr;
- the courts of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
12. Final provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity of the remaining Terms.
These Terms are available in Latvian. They form an integral part of the distance contract and take effect from the moment of their publication on rigasriepas.lv.
